Modern Day Tall Tales

February 22, 2010 at 8:09 pm 4 comments

After reading and learning about the common elements of tall tales, class 4-302 wrote their own “modern day” tall tales. Their writing included fears that students have in school. These fears were: fear of taking tests, bullies, not coming to school everyday, and not completing homework assignments. Teachers with “super human” qualities helped them overcome their fears. Students displayed portraits along with a narrated description of their “super human” teachers on VoiceThread.

If you are a student that has a similar fear, come visit our bulletin board and read our tall tales to help you become a better student!!
